Description

As the first range of eczema-prone skin care products approved by the British Skin Foundation, Cetraben Cream is a moisturizing and protective cream for the relief of symptoms such as red, inflamed, damaged, dry, or chapped skin, especially when associated with eczema. Cetraben cream may be less suitable for those with oily or acne-prone skin, as it can be too greasy for those skin types. Can Cetraben cream be used in conjunction with other skincare products?

Cetraben Cream is effective for use on any condition in which dry, damaged skin is a feature, such as eczema, psoriasis, and xerosis. Its moisturizing properties work to hydrate the skin while its protective properties help to shield the skin from further damage. This product has been specially designed for use on dry or problem skin areas anywhere on the body, but in some very rare cases it can cause local skin reactions (involving redness, irritation and/or itching). Reactions may occasionally occur if used excessively as a leave-on application in areas of folded skin such as the groin area. Do not worry if you occasionally forget to use it, just carry on using the product as described the next time you require it.

Liquid paraffin and isopropyl myristate are emollients which help to: soften, moisturise and protect your skin by trapping moisture in the skin and restoring the normal protective function of the skin and prevent the skin-drying and irritant effects that can be caused by washing and bathing and by the soaps, foaming additives and fragrances used in ordinary skin cleansing products. Cetraben cream is generally considered safe for use on children. However, it is recommended to consult with a paediatrician before using it on children, especially for young children or those with sensitive skin. Is Cetraben cream suitable for all skin types? When bathing, try to use warm, not hot, water and avoid staying in the bath for long periods. This could make dry skin conditions worse.Show all in By Condition Acne & Rosacea Athlete's Foot Bacterial Vaginosis Bad Breath Blisters Cold Sores Constipation Corns & Calluses COVID-19 Home Tests Cystitis Relief Dandruff Dandruff & Seborrhoeic Dermatitis Diabetes Diarrhoea Dry Mouth & Nose Ear Care Eczema & Psoriasis Eye Care & Infections Hair Loss & Thinning Head & Body Lice Heartburn & Indigestion Heart Conditions Hemorrhoids & Piles IBS, Bloating & Cramps Incontinence Mouth Ulcers Nail Fungal Infections Oral Thrush Pinworm & Threadworm Skin Rash Sleep Aids Snoring Verrucas & Warts Weight Management Wind & Reflux Emollients help soften, moisturise and protect the skin. Use Dermol Cream to wash with instead of your ordinary soap or shower gel. It will not foam or lather like ordinary cosmetic products. Dermol Cream is an antimicrobial and emollient (softening and moisturising) treatment for application to dry or problem skin. If you accidentally swallow the product and you then feel unwell, seek medical attention. Do not attempt to cause vomiting.attributes: "-_--_--_--_--_--_--_-Best match-_-grid-_-search successfull:1>-_--_--_--_--_--_--_-No-_--_--_--_-0-_-0-_--_--_--_--_--_--_--_-Home | Brand: Cetraben-_--_--_--_--_--_--_--_--_--_--_--_--_-1" Bedding and clothing should be washed regularly (preferably daily) to minimise the build-up of impregnated paraffin although it may not be completely removed, unless it is washed at a high temperature as paraffin is invisible and can accumulate over time If you are applying another treatment to the same areas of skin as Dermol Cream, try to avoid mixing the two products. This can be achieved by applying the treatments alternately, leaving sufficient time to allow the previous application to soak in. Cetraben cream is formulated to be used as often as needed to help moisturize and relieve dry, damaged skin. It is recommended to apply the cream throughout the day to ensure that the skin stays hydrated and protected. You may need to adjust the frequency of use depending on the condition of your skin as well as changing external factors. What are the active ingredients in Cetraben cream? Adverse reactions: Mild skin reactions, such as redness and rash, have been seen very rarely. Should this occur, use of the product should be stopped. In the unlikely event of side effects, you should talk to your doctor or pharmacist. This product contains cetostearyl alcohol which may cause local skin reactions.
