Creating anything worth looking at definitely has a learning curve, but it’s kind of neat if you’re looking to make your keyboard truly stand out. The Logitech G513 gaming keyboard's build quality is good and is very similar to the Logitech G512 Special Edition and Logitech G413.

As mentioned above, macros are limited to the function row, which keeps them out of my usual reach realm. If you're after a control panel of keys, but don't want the heft and bulk associated with many gaming keyboards in this form factor, the G513 may be the answer to your prayers. on the sides and dust can easily accumulate inside but at the same time this makes the keyboard much easier to clean and maintain.I used an updated version of the client to review the G513, and while there’s little in the way of changes from recent iterations of the software, it’s fairly easy to use.

With the G513, Logitech has made many improvements to the keyboard and I am happy to say that the new G513 is an almost perfect keyboard. The Logitech G513 is a full-size wired gaming keyboard, while the Lenovo ThinkPad TrackPoint Keyboard II is a 75% compact wireless board for mobile devices and tablets. Larger keycaps, like the spacebar in particular, don’t suffer from wobble when you’re hitting one side of the bar. G513 is crafted from incredibly strong and durable 5052 aluminum-magnesium alloy which allows for both a minimal design and a beautiful aesthetic.

I usually clock around 90WPM with full accuracy, and interestingly came far closer to that rate with the browns inside the new Logitech G413 SE. While plenty of mechanical keyboards use the venerable Cherry MX switches, Logitech has for some time now opted to develop its own mechanical switches named Romer-G. In the above screenshot, you can spend some time customizing different kinds of lighting configurations. Although it’s heavily weighted to keep it in place, magnets as utilized in the Razer BlackWidow Chroma V2 would have done a much better job of keeping it secured to the peripheral.

For gaming, the Logitech G513 scores better than the Logitech G613 LIGHTSPEED mainly because the G513 has backlighting and the G613 doesn't.Convenient USB passthrough port makes it a snap to plug in your mouse, flash drive or phone for direct data transmission or charging.
