The Nordstrand Twin Paddle Heavy Duty Mixer comes with an oversized paddle of 140mm, which increases the mixing surface area. This makes it more efficient than most 120mm paddle models because it reduces the amount of time needed to effectively mix a given amount of material. Be it cement, plaster, mortar, paint, glue or any high viscosity liquid, this paddle mixer is ready to handle it. Portable and powerful the Evolution R120MXR-Li Cordless Mixer leaves other mixers in the dust. With a high-torque DC motor, Li-ion battery power, forced air cooling and a soft-start motor controller it’s designed to run and run, mix after mix. Supplied with a 120mm Up-Mix Multi-Finish compatible paddle the Evolution Cordless Mixer is compatible with any M14 threaded paddle up to 140mm and will blend its way through plaster, paint, mortar, cement, epoxy, tile & dry wall adhesive, Artex, and much more. Lower-powered machines (~850 W) will be sufficient for most home DIY jobs like mixing plaster, paint, and smaller quantities of cement. Paddle mixers for professional jobs will have around 1800 W of power. The more powerful a paddle mixer is, the more strength it will have behind its paddle. Whilst less powerful models may stutter when mixing highly-viscous liquids, larger motors should allow the paddles to power through. It’s hard to avoid water and dust in a construction setup.
