I wish we had more insight with regards to the mental health organisation he ran with his friend, Maddison. I didn’t understand the role he was forced to play for that long? Probably because I have zero interests in sports. he’s a co-founder of a charity foundation that supports underprivileged young athletes who don’t have the mental health resources they need.

Nah, I’m still enjoying it,” I tell him honestly. “I gotta get that renewed contract by the end of the season, so until then, we have to keep it going.” Also, this might be my all-time favorite depiction of a curvy heroine. The complexity of how that affects not only who you are as a person, but how others treat you in different ways. It was a big part of how Stevie sees herself, and seeing Zanders use his therapy techniques to break down her walls and reteach her the importance of self-esteem was the most romantic part of this story. True love builds others up and keeps them going with your support and dedication.liz’s spice is ALWAYS hot and you will be dying for these two to finally give in and when they do!!!! Please, Lord, have mercy and grant me the strength to carry on after this book! I don't know how many times I can repeat it but I can't keep living without a grumpy DILF, I won't, I NEED one. Just one, I won't be greedy and ask for three 👀 Our arrangement isn't one-sided, though. I'm in a wedding coming up, on where every one of my childhood friends, including my ex-boyfriend, will be in attendance, and there's no better date than my ex's celebrity hero. And the Zanders and Ryan cameos were everything. And Isaiah and Kennedy OMFG I cannot WAIT for their book!!

Coming to the characters- Stevie and Zanders. They were meh, quite forgettable tbh. As individuals they do not shine, especially Stevie. Tho I did appreciate the author bringing out her insecurities, vulnerability, there was not much else to her. She was the love interest to Zanders. Zanders gave the typical "I'm not like other guys" vibes on and off throughout the book. It's his personality conflict that makes him a very inconsistent character. He does have his sweet moments tho, which I liked. But that’s how good Liz’s writing is, no matter how many times you’ve read her books, it’s different every time. Liz knows how to convey all the emotions in her books to you. There are times when you are happy, angry, laughing and sometimes you just cry because of the pain his character conveys in his stories. I liked Stevie, she was portrayed as normal girl with flaws and I could relate to her in a lot of ways. Our hero Zander, I didn't like him a bit at the beginning of the boo Evan Zanders. I love him so much!!! How can a man be so perfect??? Of course, he’s not, because everyone has flaws but despite all of his, the only way I can describe this man is perfect. The way everyone thought he was just some man-whore, piece of shit when in reality he is the biggest sweetheart. The way he took care of his best friend's children like his own, the way he protects his team and the people he loves, the way he’s Stevie’s number one fan and he praises and encourages her daily!! *FAINTS* The way he never judges or talks shit about women unless they deserve it, the way he just wanted to be loved!! The way he spoils and treats his loved ones, the way I want him to be real so BADDDD!!! 💔💔💔 I loved the sibling relationship between brother and sister ( twins - heroine and her brother). I loved how it was free of toxicity. Because in most books the brother tries to run his sisters life in an attempt to “protect” her while realistically doing more damage. I absolutely loved how her brother was there for her and supported her in every aspect while letting her make the decisions about her life and being there for her if something didn’t work out. He did the same with his family ( his mom who was an amazing mother to him but was toxic and awfully passive aggressive to his sister). He stood by the sister and respectfully told his mom off for acting differently towards the two of them. It was healing to read about such a great dynamic of siblings. But that wasn’t the case here. And whilst this had a strong beginning, it started to go downhill for me in the second half. The flaws became far too glaring.
